Christmas table challenge 2020
About 1 month ago, I received an e-mail asking me to participate in this challenge. It was the beginning of the lockdown n°2 in France, I was a bit down and this new project warmed my heart.
I found the idea just amazing and very inspiring! And I’m happy to see so many contestants with so many different tables.
I wanted to make a simple, elegant and modern table. The watchwords: improvisation and creativity! I used my living room, my table, my chairs, my plates, my candles and my glasses. Except the cutlery, linen napkins and candleholders were rented from @jolibazaar . I wanted to show that you can make a nice table with what you have at home. And the stationery that I used were old papers that I found in my grandparents’ attic. I had kept them just in case and it was nice to have a little bit of them with me on this table because I know I won’t be able to be with them this Christmas…
All of this was enhanced by the lovely floral arrangements of Faustine. Thanks again for her participation. I also thank Fanny for her photos which I find very soft and bright. It was a very nice afternoon! 🎄🎄🎄
