For once this event was a birthday party and not a wedidng. And it was a crazy party on a rooftop in Paris, with the view on the Eiffel Tower! So, what else?

The Roaring Twenties refers to the decade of the 1920s. Jazz blossomed, the flapper redefined the modern look women, and Art Deco peaked. The spirit of the Roaring Twenties was marked by a general feeling of novelty. And so associated with modernity and a break with tradition. Formal decorative frills were shed in favor of practicality in both daily life and architecture. At the same time, jazz and dancing rose in popularity, in opposition to the mood of World War I. As such, the period often is referred to as the Jazz Age.

For party, it’s also well known as “Gatsby Party”. It was festive and magical birthday party! For the decoration: the main point was the lights, the balloons, little objects from the 20-30’s and black, white, gold colors only. No need to have too much decoration for this kind of style. Just need too have a golden things, art deco objects, some greenery for the table (which was a greenery crown with candles in a vase tube in the middle) and pampa flowers to represent the feather and lots of light garlands and you’re done! Back to the 20-30’s!

And the most important for this kind of event, it’s to have every guests outfitted in the fashion of the Roaring Twenties–flapper dresses, silk gloves, tuxedos, long cigarettes…
